It will be much easier for me to blog using my phone since my laptop is pretty much not my laptop anymore... LoL my dad basically uses it the whole day from 3pm when he gets home. Then I work in the morning till 5 so yes for sure i can't use it. Haha. I usually take my swatch pics using my phone so it should be ok. To test if this will work.. Here is a picture that i took using my phone. I wish i am able to rotate the pictures or move it to wherever i want but this application from blogger has limited functions. I cant even view other blogs! The only thing i can do is post. Anyway, just want to let you guys know that i will be having a blog sale soon. Most of the polishes i got are htf. I spent most of my time dusty hunting and in some stores i got lucky. I am not trying to rip people off but i really need the money and doing this blog sale will definitely help me even for a little bit. I hope you guys believe me. If i was to cheat you guys i would've just opened an ebay account and list my polishes there instead. Till next time!

I am sorry!!
IM ALIVE!! for those who read my blog.. I thank you! really from the bottom of my heart. I see few people view my page but never comment but i still wanna thank you guys for showing interest in my page. But yes! I am still alive :) been neglecting this blog but i still catch up with my fav blogs. Ive been really busy thats all and my laptop died :( Anyway my nails grew long. They were nice and strong and then it started peeling again and they eventually broke one by one. Maybe because of work too since I've been working almost everyday and setting up isles and such. Anyway... For this swatch I used Orly - Fowl Play. The application was fine, no issues there. This polish is dark purple with flakies. I loved how this one looked inside the bottle. However, there was something about it that I didn't like. Honestly, after taking pictures I immediately took this polish off and put a new one. Till next time :) Happy polishing everyone!

Thanks to NailXchange & Nail Polish Canada -- & Sorry I was MIA!
So, I joined a giveaway by nailXchange. It was actually a last minute thing and funny thing is I won lol and I've never won anything! LOL. Thanks to nailXchange for having the giveaway and random org for picking me lol. Especially thanks to Nail Polish Canada for providing the prize for the giveaway. Anyway I went to pick up the package at the post office because I missed the delivery yesterday. I was really excited when I opened it up. I don't know when they shipped this but I replied on Feb. 14 to Sylwia and it got here on Feb. 21. If they shipped the same day it only took about a week to get here and the package came from Vancouver, BC. Very fast shipping indeed.
Here is what I got!
YAY! I can't wait to try this plate! I just love love full image plates. The stamper and scraper will be just my backups and I will definitely use the image plates and the special polishes.
Thanks for reading! :) I am happy to be back!

OPI Suede - OPI Ink Swatch
Last month I bought my first two suede polish. Both of them are from the OPI Suede Collection Fall 2009. First one I swatched is OPI Ink.This polish is actually more on the purple side-- my cellphone camera is making it too blue! So please consider that lol. This was two coats.
I am still unsure if I like the suede finish. LOL. So I decided to put top coat.. here are the swatches. Again this is too blue -- this polish is more on the purple side :)
I love it with top coat! It just shows its true beauty when you put top coat right? Look at all that shimmer!

Sexy Darkened Red - Rimmel Red Rock
Here is another mani that I did a month ago. LOL I usually take pics but been lazy to post them up so here I am trying to catch up and post everything lol. I will try to keep on posting every MWF :)
Side note: I am so thankful for the people who followed this blog -- even though sometimes I just talk/type too much. I also appreciate people who actually comment on my posts :) When I reach 50 followers I will host a small giveaway for sure - just a thank you to guys :)
Anyway here are the pics
Name: Rimmel -- Red Rock
This polish is very shiny once dried as you can see from the photos. It is also a one coater which is a very big PLUS for me. As for drying time it's ok. It's not that bad :)
Would you guys know which ones have a top coat on the pic above??
wanna guess??
well.. from L to R -- topcoat, no topcoat, topcoat. Don't 3 of them look the same?
What do you think about this polish?
Random:
FOOD TRIP!!
It's a fried calamari deep fried on spicy ketchup. Served with mayo and like a springroll wrapper (also fried). It was so yummy! My friends and I went around downtown Toronto and ate a restaurant called Guu. This place was fairly new to me and when we came in the host greeted us and spoke Japanese and all of the workers were screaming something. LOL later on we found out they were saying Irashaimase which means welcome in Japanese. To every customer that would enter they would shout and it was so loud inside. It was fun though the atmosphere wasn't quiet and you feel relaxed.
till next time!

China Glaze -- Skyscraper
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! :D
When I bought nail polish from Sally's @ Rochester, I got all of their China Glaze that were 1.99. I also saw the display of the Metro Collection so I grabbed two colors from there. I was happy they have Skyscraper because I have seen it in another blog and I immediately fell in love. Yeah, I'm not a glitter polish lover but I think this polish is an exception :)
Why you ask? because it's blue! and its not as gritty as other glitter polish and it dries fast :)
I used one coat of China Glaze No- Chip Top Coat but it wasn't thick enough. I can still feel the little bumps from the glitter but I left it as is anyway. It took me 3 coats to make it all even. I don't know I actually had a hard time applying this polish. Maybe because I am not used to put on glitter polish? I dont know. It's okay, I forgive this polish for being gorgeous especially under sunlight! :D
Onto pics!!
This polish has a dark blue base with lots of blue and silver glitters.
SEE? isn't it purddy?? :D So happy I bought this one. And it wasn't a pain in the butt to remove! I am in love :D

A gift from a loved one :)
My boyfriend went to New York during the long weekend (labour day long weekend) just to visit his cousin. I regretted not asking him to get me some polish from the Make Up Store -- as they have holo polishes. I decided I will just hunt those babies down when I go there myself. Anyway, I asked my bf to find me some polishes but he kinda failed... LOL I don't mind though. I give him credit for trying :) When he came back he handed me a big bag -- it was full of clothes from Forever 21, American Eagle, etc. and at the bottom of the bag I found two sally hansen nail polish. LOL. He said sorry that's all he could get me. I looked at the colors of the polishes he bought. One was blue and one was grey. It made me think why he chose this grey color when it's so blah. LOL I just thanked and kissed him. Two weeks ago when I was arranging my stash I saw what he bought me and then I took off my day old polish and put the blue polish on called 440 Calypso Blue. Here are some swatches
It was so pretty! Application was like butter -- it was smooth and I think this was 2 coats. I don't know if you guys see it but this polish has green shimmer to it. It's very pretty.
I will have the other grey polish swatch soon :P

China Glaze -- Vertical Rush Swatch
I was bored and thought -- maybe I should change my polish? LOL. My bf usually hates it when I change my polish often - he usually says that I'm just wasting the polish when I just put them on yesterday or 2 days before.
I usually change it when it's chipped, when I'm bored and when I feel like I don't like the color anymore! LOL. I have a diff polish today but I wore this polish which is China Glaze Vertical Rush 2 weeks ago.
Here are some swatches
If you look closer you will see this polish has blue, purple, gold?, red, and pink particles -- Which I think makes this polish a little unique.
What do you guys think?
Till next time! :D Have a great day!

Mannequin Hands
I was looking through my picture folder on my computer and saw this swatch. I usually take pics when I change my polish and just forget to blog about it. Anyway this is a Sally Hansen polish called Inspired Orchid.
This one is pretty close to my skin tone as you can see. What I like about this polish is that it has a purple/blue sheen to it. When you put your fingers in a different angle it would just look like a plain nude polish -- but when you move it again you would see it just like this photo:
Isn't it pretty? I know some people don't like these kind of polishes that makes your nails look like they're a mannequins hand. It is different -- but I like it. The only thing I hated was the drying time and this was not opaque. I think I did 3 or 4 coats? I don't rmb. LOL.
What do you guys think? Yay or Nay? Do you dig mannequin hands?

First time - Sponged mani
hey ladies,
how are you all doing?
Random: My family and I went to a Japanese buffet called Oishi Sushi last night which is close to our house for a celebration because it was my cousins birthday and let me tell you I was a happy girl last night. LOL here is what I basically ate all night.
Sushi anyone? LOL
ANYWAY ONTO NAILS!
This mani was done 2 days ago. I haven't been able to post here because my internet was being lame! anyway this was the first time I actually used sponging technique and I really like how it turned out.
For the base I used OPI's do you lilac it? then I sponged a darker purple polish from Joe Fresh - I forgot the name I'll edit this and post the name later :P
I liked it however I didn't feel like it was complete so then I stamped it using my XL image plate from ebay. Stamping was a fail but it still looked pretty to me.
So, here is the final result :)
Do you like sponging? what's your favourite combo?
how are you all doing?

How I store my small image plates..
Hi Lovely Ladies!
Today, I will show you how I store my image plates.
How it was stored before: When I only had the first set of image plates from Bundle Monster and 3 from Konad (I don't buy from Konad anymore it's too expensive lol). I had them stacked together wrapped in plastic and inside a small make up bag.
Why I changed it: Well, it was a pain in the butt to take them out and put them back in and sometimes my plastic will be ripped on the side (Old BM plates have sharp edges) keeping it like that is just waiting for an accident to happen lol. Another reason was if you stack them together and you are looking for the plate you want -- you can get the image plates ruined because again BM edges were sharp. I am careful with my things and I don't want my plates scratched lol.
How I store it now: After I received my second Bundle Monster set I decided I needed to change how I was storing it because even if they had that blue plastic cover - I wouldn't keep it forever like that. Sooner or later I have to take the film out and use the plate. So, I was putting down stock at my work place one day and saw these clear plastic card holders. It was in the clearance section and I got it for 1.05 I believe? LOL.Here is a picture:
Isn't it just a perfect fit? I took those card holders and put them in a binder that I used to use for school.
However, this is not as effective as I thought it would be. Yeah, I know my plates are safe..but they slide around and the top is basically open and all of them will fall out if you hold the binder upside down. Now I am just thinking of what I will do with the opening.. maybe i will put a tape to cover it? IDK lol.
Another pic:
Any suggestions on how to keep the top somewhat closed?
How do you guys store your image plates?? let me know on the comments section below :)
** my XL image plate swatches post is postponed -- still working on the video, I am trying to put music at least LOL.

GOSH holographic!
A package from heaven came! :D
So, I asked a friend from London if she could get me a certain polish that is htf here. Well.. she surprised me and sent me two! and when I was about to pay her she insisted that it was a gift :D She's one of my friends that do not understand my nail polish addiction but gladly got it for me. Thanks Rachelle! you are the best!
Now, honestly my lemming for China Glaze's OMG is way gone since this one is better (more holo). Good thing I held back and did not purchase OMG from ebay for a hefty price! Anywhooo here are some swatches.
How was application, you ask? it was a pain in the butt! LOL it can be really patchy if you are not careful. Also, for me thin coats works best because I tried to do a thick one and it didn't work it became uneven because this polish dries too fast. If you look at the bottle in person it may seem like it's just a regular silver polish but when applied and it dries -- you will be amazed. I was staring at my nails for the longest time -- I even showed it to my brothers and they think I've gone crazy! LOL.
NOTE: I applied china glaze top coat and the holo was toned down - bleh I wasn't able to take pics maybe next time I wear this I will. Maybe if I use seche vite or another top coat it would stay the same.. IDK we'll see. It chipped on me the next day that's another disadvantage of this polish.
The photos were taken with my phone so sorry for the quality. I know my hands are dry..I was just lazy to put lotion after I did my nails lol.
So, would you guys wear this polish even w/o top coat or wear a top coat to save the polish from chipping?
